Terms of Use
Fitness Media Company Pty Ltd · Last updated 25 October 2026
These Terms of Use are an agreement between you and Fitness Media Company Pty Ltd(“we”, “us”), the operator of Lift Engine: the iOS and Android app (formerly “LIFTit with Stephanie Sanzo”), the website liftengine.app and the sign-up pages at join.liftengine.app (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Who can use Lift Engine
You must be 18 or older and able to enter a binding agreement. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details secure and for everything done through your account. Tell us straight away at support@liftengine.app if you think someone else has used it. One account is for one person.
2. Your health and safety
Lift Engine provides general fitness and nutrition information. It is not medical advice and does not replace a doctor, physiotherapist or dietitian.
- Speak to a doctor before starting a new exercise or nutrition program, especially if you are pregnant or postpartum, have a medical condition or injury, take medication, or have not exercised for a while.
- Tell the app about injuries, pain and limitations, and keep them up to date. The program can only allow for what it knows.
- Train within your ability, use equipment safely, warm up, and use a spotter where needed.
- Stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath or discomfort, and seek medical help if it continues.
Exercise carries a risk of injury. To the extent the law allows, you take part at your own risk.
3. The Engine and AI features
The Engine, our AI coach, builds and adapts programs, answers questions, analyses form videos and helps with nutrition, using artificial intelligence alongside our own safety and progression rules. AI output can be incomplete or wrong. Use your judgement, and do not rely on it for medical, diagnostic or emergency decisions.
Form checks are based only on the video you upload, which may not show everything; feedback is general guidance, not an assessment by a qualified professional. Nutrition targets and food values are estimates.
4. Message Stephanie
Members whose coach is Stephanie Sanzo may be able to send her messages in the app, depending on their plan. Stephanie aims to reply within 24 hours but cannot guarantee a time. Replies are general coaching guidance, not medical advice, and Message Stephanie is not an emergency service. In an emergency, call 000 (or your local emergency number). Please be respectful; we may limit or remove access if messages are abusive or misuse the feature.
5. Subscriptions, trials and payments
- Lift Engine offers paid plans, such as Training and Training Plus, billed monthly or yearly. The features and price of each plan are shown before you buy.
- Free trials: where offered, a trial lasts for the period shown when you start it. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, your subscription starts and you are charged automatically. Each person may use a trial once.
- Automatic renewal: subscriptions renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel. We will tell you before a price change applies to you.
- Where you pay: purchases in the app are billed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) and are subject to their terms. Purchases on join.liftengine.app are billed by Stripe.
- Cancelling: cancel any time before your next renewal: for Apple, in iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions; for Google, in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions; for web purchases, through the link in your receipt or by emailing us. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel an App Store or Google Play subscription by itself.
- Refunds: payments are not refundable for partly used periods, except where the law requires or we decide otherwise. Refunds for app purchases are handled by Apple or Google under their policies; for web purchases, email support@liftengine.app.
- Offers: discounts and promotions apply only as described when offered and may end at any time.
6. Your content
You own what you add to Lift Engine: your workouts, photos, videos, messages and posts. You give us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, process and display that content only as needed to provide and improve the Service for you, as described in our Privacy Policy. Content you post in the community can be seen by other members.
7. Community and acceptable use
Please keep Lift Engine a safe, supportive place. You must not:
- post content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, misleading or that infringes anyone’s rights;
- share other people’s personal information or images without their permission;
- spam, advertise or promote anything without our permission;
- copy, resell, scrape or redistribute the programs, videos or other content in the Service;
- try to access accounts or systems you are not allowed to, interfere with the Service, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows;
- use the Service to build a competing product or to train AI models.
We may remove content and suspend or close accounts that break these rules.
8. Our content
The app, programs, exercise videos and images, the Engine, our designs and brands, and Stephanie Sanzo’s name and likeness are owned by us or our licensors. While your account is in good standing, we give you a personal, non-transferable licence to use them for your own training through the Service.
9. Changes and availability
We keep improving Lift Engine, so features, programs, coaches and content may change, and the Service may sometimes be unavailable for maintenance or reasons outside our control. If we make a significant change to these terms, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. If you keep using the Service after that, the new terms apply.
10. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time in the app (Account → Delete account). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts others at risk or is used unlawfully, and will tell you where we can. Remember to cancel any App Store or Google Play subscription separately.
11. Australian Consumer Law and liability
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, and you may have similar rights where you live. Nothing in these terms limits those rights.
To the extent the law allows: the Service is provided “as is”; we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for injury or loss arising from not following the safety guidance in section 2; and where our liability for failing to meet a consumer guarantee can be limited, it is limited to supplying the service again or paying the cost of having it supplied again.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you and we submit to the courts of Victoria. If you live elsewhere, you may also have the protection of the mandatory laws of your country. If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
